PartyTents2Go WEB Site Help Page
Enabling 'Javascript' in your browser.
Our WEB site prefers that you have Javascript enabled in your browser. Javascript allows embeded routines to run on your PC.
The major features will be missing from our Web site if Javascript is not enabled. In particular the Menu bar, for moving around the site, the 'Quick Quote' and Weather Forecast features will all be missing.
If you are using a JavaScript compliant browser and still have problems, make sure you have JavaScript enabled in your browser's preferences/options.
You can do the changes whilst displaying this page:-
- For Internet Explorer Version 6, click on Tools -> Internet Options then select the 'Security' tab. Make sure the slider is on 'Medium' then click on OK.
- For Internet Explorer Version 7, click on Tools -> Internet Options then select the 'Security' tab. Make sure the slider is either on 'Medium-High' or on 'Medium' then click on OK.
- For the Firefox browser, click on Tools -> Options then select the 'Content' tab and make sure 'Enable JavaScript' is ticked by clicking in the box to the left of the option then click on OK.
- For any other browser, there should be settings/options available similar to those in either Internet Explorer or Firefox.
Finally, whichever browser you are using, now press the 'f5' key on your keyboard and the correctly formatted Partytents2Go web page will be displayed.
Use the slider bar on the right to move to the very top of the page and you will see the logo and Menu bar which you can now use to select the various options.
Enabling 'Cookies' in your browser.
Cookies are small files that are saved on your disk drive by the owners of the web page you are browsing. They are safe and sometimes used, as in our case, for tracking and temporary storage of items you are putting in to a list for further processing ie. calculating a total price.
If using Internet Explorer, click on 'Tools' in the menu options at the top of the page. In the drop down menu click on 'Internet Options'. A dialogue box will open with a row of named tabs. Click on the 'Privacy' tab and look at the setting of the vertical slider. It will probably be in the 'Medium' setting. Click on the slider knob and whilst holding the mouse button, slide the knob down so that the 'Low' setting is displayed. This is the setting required for the quote pages to work properly. Now click on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the dialogue box.
If using Firefox as your bowser, click on 'Tools' in the menu options at the top of the page. In the drop down menu click on 'Options...'. A dialogue box will open with a row of named icons at the top. Click on the lock icon named 'Privacy' and some tabs will appear below. Click on the 'Cookies' tab and ensure there is a tick in the slection box for 'Allow sites to set Cookies'. Now click on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the dialogue box.
Contacting us by e-mail.
If the e-mail link on the 'Contact Us' page does not work then you have possibly not set-up what's called an e-mail client on your computer - ie. Microsoft Outlook Express or Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird etc. Setting-up one of these facilities on your computer is not something that we can help you with.
However, if you use a web mail like hotmail or yahoo then go to your email account in your browser and send an e-mail to:
Set the subject to 'From Contact Us WEB page' and detail your reasons for contacting us. We will endeavour to reply within 2 working days.
If you have no e-mail facilities then please contact us by either telephone or post using the information on the 'Contact Us' page.
